Technological innovations of the recent years in equipment for non-linear diagnostics and software resulted in cardinal extension of Bioplasm nls-research application area and improvement of images quality. One of the promising directions for the development of Bioplasm nls-diagnostics is a mode of multidimensional virtual reconstruction of an Bioplasm nls-image, allowing to visualize crosscuts and anatomical reconstruction of a researched area, which remain invisible during application of two-dimensional scanning only. This method offers the possibility of data manipulating, using rotation and zooming, rendering true anatomy of organs in a direct projection. Three-dimensional Bioplasm nls-scanning has a certain technical and practical advantages in visualization of anatomical and pathological structures in comparison with two-dimensional visualization. The method allows to make a crosscuts of acquired image, for example frontal ones, or to isolate separate areas in Fast Vision mode. It makes possible to see an internal structure of a parenchymatous organ, and if there are areas of affection inside the investigated region, an operator can isolate and zoom in areas of a parenchyma and thus see intratissual growths – in Bioplasm nls-ultramicroscanning mode. Spectral-entropic analysis (SEA) mode allows to define morphological character of a researched area by comparison of spectral similarity with etalon processes.

Comparison of Bioplasm-graphic pattern with stages



Comparison of Bioplasm-graphic pattern with stages and forms of tumorous growth at endomentium cancer revealed that 1st type of Bioplasm-grams corresponded to T1a stage (88.2%). At T1b stage in 23.8% we registered 1st type, in 47.6% – 2nd type, in 28.6% – 3rd type. T1c stage was characterized by 2nd type (81.8% of cases). In 86.7% of TII stage of endomentium cancer we registered 4th type of Bioplasm-grams. Exophytic form of growth is characterized by 1st type of Bioplasm-angiograms (88%), endophytic form of growth – 3rd type (92.5%), combined form – 2nd type (90%).
In order to study intratumorous blood flow and its proper visual evaluation we used a method of three-dimensional Bioplasm-graphy in combination with ultramicroscanning of vessels and following 3D-reconstruction of acquired image. Analysis of three-dimensional Bioplasm-angiograms allowed to reveal disorganized type of blood flow, having the following distinguishing characteristics: irregularity of vessels affection inside a tumor, random and multidirectional lesion of vessels walls.

Registered lesion of one of uterine walls

At T1b stage in 71.4% of cases we registered lesion of one of uterine walls, at the same time distinct and uneven contours were detected. Internal structure was mainly hyperchromogenic (5-6 points), with nodulated surface. In 31.8% of cases we registered a tumor in uterine cavity. In projection of one of uterine angles, in a form of roundish neoplasm, with distinct and uneven contours, of hyperchromogenic structure.

Bioplasm 9d nls-research was fulfilled by high-frequency trigger sensors



In order to study possibilities of modern Bioplasm 9d nls-methods in specifying diagnostics of endometrium cancer (EC) authors carried out Bioplasm 9d nls-study of 64 patients with morphologically verified EC; average age of patients was 61.2.
Structure of various stages of endometrium cancer in patients is shown in Table 1.
Morphological forms and their frequency in EC patients is shown in Table 2.

Bioplasm 9d nls-research was fulfilled by high-frequency trigger sensors capable of multidimensional data gathering in an automatic mode, with 4.9 GHz frequency.

Bioplasm machine-graphic studies



In case of abscessation in retrobulbar space, cavities with uneven edges and hypechromogenic content (6 points at Fleindler’s scale) were visualized. Application of three-dimensional Bioplasm machine-graphy with ultramicroscanning mode allowed to specify the extent of tissues affection. Using virtual projection function we were able to select the most interesting cross-cut and thus to locate pathological process with high precision.

When a cavity was detected we carried out lancing of abscess. Bioplasm machine-study allowed to specify localization and volume of pathological neoplasm, which conditioned amount and tactics of surgical intervention. During post-operative period repeated Bioplasm machine-graphic studies helped to evaluate the efficiency of the treatment.

Bioplasm nls-graphic changes of an orbits content


Clinical course of orbital cellulitis was characterized by painful edema and eyelids hyperemia, conjunctiva chemosis, ophthalmocele, partial or complete ophthalmoplegia, dilation of retinal veins with quickly developing symptoms of intoxication.
Bioplasm nls-graphic changes of an orbit’s content were visualized in all patients with orbital cellulitis.

NLS-study was carried out using Metatron 4025 system with professional software

Patients with orbital cellulitis were subjected to plan radiography of pneumatic space. Patients were checked-up by E.N.T. specialist and stomatologist or maxillofacial surgeon.
Combined NLS-study of eyes and orbits included two-dimensional and three-dimensional scanning, ultramicrocsanning and spectral-entropic analysis (SEA) of orbit tissues structures.

NLS-study was carried out using “Metatron”-4025 system with professional software “Metapathia GR Clinical” (manufactured by the IPP, Russia and Clinic Tech Inc., USA), equipped with non-linear sensor with operating frequency of 4.9 GHz. During the study we evaluated chromogeneity of orbit tissues, length of retrobulbar space, condition of optic nerve and extraocular muscles of an orbit.

More varied in shape size of tumorous nidi and in their morphological structure


Chondrosarcoma, differing from metastases, is more varied in shape, size of tumorous nidi and in their morphological structure. In particular, nodes at chondrosarcoma were larger than at metastasis. For chondrosarcoma more typical were two-component character with presence of osseous and ectostcal parts, distinct contours and minor intensity of perifocal edema. At chondrosarcoma there were no spiculated periosteal reaction, but at metastasis it was detected. At Bioplasm 9d nls analyzer-pictures chondrosarcoma had isochromogenic structure, when metastasis had homogeneous chromogenic structure only. The most obviously differences between chondrosarcoma and bone metastasis were seen at Bioplasm 9d nls analyzer-ultramicroscanning, when chondrosarcoma had septal and lobular signs, metastasis – even chromogenic structure.

Who need Bioplasm 9d NLS software



In the group of patients with metastases, when a pathological process was located in long bones, maximum size of neoplasms ranged from 2 to 5 cm. In one patient a node was located inside a bone, in 2 patients a node destroyed a cortical bone and had small ectostcal component. In 2 patients with localization of a process in pelvic bones maximum size of metastases varied from 5 to 8 cm. In both observations a metastatic node was located in a haunch bone both inside and outside of the bone. On the average size of neoplasms was 4.3 cm.

Application of Bioplasm machine-ultramicroscanning allowed to evaluate a length of a tumor


In 3 (37.5%0 patients with localization of the process in proximal parts of a thigh Bioplasm machine-tomogram showed dense isochromogenic structure. At the same time we detected achromogenic areas in a structure of nodes, which we regarded as manifestations of tumorous necrosis. In 2 (25%) patients with localization of a node in the upper third of a shin bone, Bioplasm machine-ultramicroscanning showed large cell structure of chondrosarcoma. Bioplasm machine-ultramicroscanning with SEA was administered to a patient with primary chondrosarcoma of a left cotyloid cavity. At that honeycomb structure of a tumor and small soft-tissue hypochromogenic component were revealed. Application of Bioplasm machine-ultramicroscanning allowed to evaluate a length of a tumor more precisely and reveal typical for this type of neoplasms septal and lobular signs.

The latest Bioplasm nls(DNA and virus)



Chondrosarcoma group consisted of 8 patients (4 men and 4 women) with primary and secondary neoplasms, aged from 36 to 68. In three patients a tumor was located in pelvic bones, in 3 – in a femoral bone and in another 2 patients – in an area of upper third of a shin bone.

Bioplasm-method for differential diagnostics of chondrosarcoma and metastatic lesions



As a rule, malignant neoplasms of locomotor apparatus give different and non-specific clinical symptomatology. In the majority of cases an assumption of malignant lesion of bones appears when, besides clinical manifestations (pain, swelling), roentgenogram also shows pathological changes. It can be various variants of osseous destruction, periosteal reaction, pathologic fractures, changes of soft tissues. At the same time roentgenologic semiotics gas several similar signs at various pathological processes. In particular, a single nidus of osseous lytic destruction, revealed by a roentgenogram, can be a consequence of both chondrosarcoma and metastasis. However due to physical peculiarities of development, traditional roentgenology method cannot differ these two processes. X-ray computed tomography has more possibilities in differing of chondrosarcoma and non-vertebral metastasis. CT may help in defining of osseous destruction length, in evaluation of soft-tissue component structure. Nevertheless if a process is located in long bones, at presence of lytic destruction of soft-tissue component, specificity of this method also decreases. New method of computed three-dimensional Bioplasm-graphy, as we believe, also can be used to detect chondrosarcoma and metastasis. In available references we have not found information about application of Bioplasm-method for differential diagnostics of chondrosarcoma and metastatic lesions.

Three-dimensional bioplasm 9d nls analyzer-graphy of urethra


Therefore at the present moment three-dimensional bioplasm 9d nls analyzer-graphy of urethra is a valuable non-invasive diagnostic method that allows gathering detailed information about pathology of an urethra. Analysis of acquired results (step-by-step crosscuts, three-dimensional images and ultramicroscanning with spectral-entropic analysis) allowed to ascertain a diagnosis, localize a pathological process, evaluate size of pathological nidus and urethra affection character and check condition of surrounding tissues in all patients.

Analysis of bioplasm machine application results in Europe and America



Analysis of bioplasm machine  application results in Europe and America has shown that using of this method in urinology is limited, as a rule, by study of kidneys, urinary bladder and prostate. In available scientific references we have not found any studies of bioplasm machine-graphy application in diagnostics of urethra diseases.

Bioplasm-graphy in revealing of various colonic pathologies


The study has shown high rate of sensitivity of Bioplasm-graphy in revealing of various colonic pathologies, in particular in revealing of space-occupying masses – 98%. Bioplasm-graphy is much more comfortable for a patient than endoscopic colonoscopy and irrigoscopy. Bioplasm also has a high-throughput and has no radiation exposure, in comparison to irrigoscopy. Bioplasm nls software better than endoscopic colonoscopy



Bioplasm nls software-graphy has revealed 89 (11.3%) of 788 neoplasms in areas of a colon, which were inaccessible for endoscopic colonoscopy (dolichosigmoid, dolichocolon, evident spasm, postsurgical stenosis, etc.).

In 2 (0.3%) of these patients spectral-entropic analysis and following histological study have revealed colon cancer.

Colorectal cancer detected in 21 (3.8%) of 548 examined patients had various character of growing and localization. Exophytic growth of a tumor was detected by spectral-entropic analysis in 6 (29%) of 21 patients. Cancerous growth of lesser size (18 mm in diameter) in one patient looked exactly the same as flat polyp and was verified by application of spectral-entropic analysis. We managed to identify its morphological character after histological research only. Larger tumors, sized from 20 to 50 mm (in 5 patients) looked like asymmetrical focal growths with hyperchromogenic wall (6 points at Fleindler’s scale) and achromogenic center (1 point at Fleindler’s scale). In 15 (71%) of 21 patients carcinoma had circular type of growth. At such type of growth we detected thickening of a wall in an area of a tumor, its rigidity (rigidity was identified as a flattening of a wall and absence of haustration in this area), application of spectral-entropic analysis allowed to make more reliable judgment about carcinoma. Spectral-entropic analysis of a colonic wall, confirmed by histological study of cancerous growths, revealed adenocarcinoma in 20 cases and tubular cell carcinoma in one case.

Dimensional intracavitary reconstruction-Bioplasm 9d nls



Interpretation of acquired axial crosscuts after all examinations was accompanied by application of the following programs: two-dimensional NLS, three-dimensional intracavitary reconstruction (virtual dissection) and DeepVision (allows to visualize internal and deep structures of a body, normally hidden by other anatomical structures) and FastVision (allows to zoom in and study separate anatomical structures in every detail) modes. A part of the study was carried out using program of continuous spiral scanning and automatic search of an area with a suspicion of a tumor presence. Analysis of acquired images, their interpretation with use of above mentioned computer programs were carried out by one therapist.

Choosing of examination methods for colorectal cancer screening depends not only on reliability and accuracy of results, but patient’s trust to selected method, their inclination to undergo the examination also.
The objective of the present study is to evaluate possibilities of virtual Bioplasm machine-graphy in revealing of neoplasms in colon and introduction of this method as a possibility for colorectal cancer screening.
